This product came with several mats so you could chose the orientation you wanted. You could put the collar in but you don’t have to. I was very impressed with the quality of the frame also.

I have purchased three of these frames, one for each of our beloved dogs that have passed away. I like the fact that you can include a picture of your dog along with their collar. The frames were easy to assemble. They look amazing in person and I will treasure them forever.

This tribute frame is really nice and exactly what I was looking for. The frame worked perfectly for my boy's collar, but it might not be deep enough if you have a bulkier one. The only negative is that I wish the opening for the photo was just a teeny bit smaller--it was a hair larger than my 4"x6" photo, but I made it work. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
